Pick a right breed and proper attention if you want to keep seahorse as a pet. They should be treated correctly in order to survive. I think they are much sensitive than fish. Northern erectus have proven to be a little more difficult to raise than southern because they usually go through a short pelagic stage when they are first born. Southern erectus are usually larger and hitching at birth and are easier to raise. You don't have to use a kreisel with pelagic fry, but a lot of people have more success with them.
